If IPTV South Africa isn't for you, message us within 30 days of paying and we'll refund you. You don't have to give a reason, though telling us what didn't work helps us fix it for the next person.
The 30 days run from the date of payment, not from the day you got it set up.
This is a commercial guarantee we choose to offer. It is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, and doesn't replace or reduce them. Section 9 sets out how the two fit together.
We offer 24 hours free, on your own TV and your own line, with no card details.
We would much rather you check for yourself before paying than pay and then need a refund. It's quicker for you and more useful to us — and on a service that lives or dies on which channels it carries, an evening of actually watching tells you more than any page on this site.
Message us on WhatsApp at +44 7403 674324, or email contact@iptvv.co.za with Refund request in the subject line.
Tell us the email address or number you ordered with, the date of payment and the package you took. That's all we need to find your order.
You're welcome to tell us what went wrong, and if it's something we can fix in a few minutes we'll offer that — but the refund stays yours if you'd still rather have it.
This service is sold on what it carries, so a complaint that a channel is missing is taken seriously rather than waved away. If what you subscribed for isn't there, that falls squarely within the 30-day guarantee.
Before asking for the refund, it helps to tell us which channel. Some are a single stream we can restore within hours; some are sitting in a category your player has collapsed or hidden. Either way your right to a refund stays fully intact while we look.
What we can't undo is a channel being withdrawn at the upstream source — nobody in this chain controls that. If your decision rests on a particular channel or competition, please ask us before you pay and we'll tell you honestly what we know.
If the service genuinely doesn't work as described, that's covered by the guarantee.
It helps to tell us what you're seeing and on which device. Freezing on 4K while HD runs clean usually points at bandwidth; a single channel failing while the rest are fine points at us; everything struggling at once usually points at the home network. We'll say which we think it is, and why.
What we can't refund is a problem clearly on your side of the line — a capped bundle that ran out, wi-fi that can't carry the stream, or a device that can't decode it. We'll tell you plainly if that's what we find, along with what we based it on.
Third-party app licences. Some players — IBO Player Pro, TiviMate Premium, Plex Pass and others — charge their own fee. That money goes to them, not to us, and we can't refund it. Ask us before you buy one if you're unsure.
Hardware. A Fire TV Stick, Android box or any other device you buy falls under the returns policy of whoever sold it to you.
Bank or payment-provider charges, including currency conversion and crypto network fees.
Requests after 30 days. Past that point we're not obliged to refund — but tell us what's wrong anyway. If it's on our side we'll always try to put it right.
We aim to approve refund requests within one to two business days.
Once approved, the money goes back the way it came. How quickly it lands depends on your bank rather than on us: typically five to ten business days for a card, often quicker with PayPal.
If it's taking longer, check with your bank first — the refund is often visible on their side before it reaches your statement. Then come back to us and we'll chase it.
Crypto payments can be refunded, but the amount is worked out on the rand value at the time of purchase, not the exchange rate on the day of the refund. Rates move sharply and neither side should be exposed to that.
We refund in the same cryptocurrency, converted from that rand amount at the rate on the day. Network fees are deducted from the amount sent.
Crypto transactions can't be reversed. We can only refund to a wallet address you give us — check it carefully, because funds sent to a wrong address can't be recovered by anyone, us included.
The Consumer Protection Act gives you rights that exist whatever any policy says, and nothing on this page limits them.
Among them: the right to receive a service that is of reasonable quality and matches how it was described (section 54); the right to fair and honest dealing, free of misleading representation (section 41); and, for goods or services bought without seeing them first, the direct-marketing cooling-off right where that section applies (section 16).
We don't ask you to waive any of this, and we don't rely on any exclusion that the Act prohibits. Where our 30-day guarantee is more generous, take the guarantee; where the Act gives you more, take the Act.
If we can't resolve something between us, you may refer it to the National Consumer Commission or a recognised consumer court or ombud — see thencc.org.za. That route is open to you and costs nothing.
The guarantee exists so you can try the service without risk. It doesn't exist to provide free access.
We may decline a refund where we have solid grounds to believe it is being misused — repeated buy-and-refund cycles across accounts, payment methods or devices — or where the account was used in breach of our terms, such as sharing or reselling login details.
We'll always give you the reason. Declining a guarantee claim doesn't affect any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act.
Renewals. Each renewal is a fresh purchase and carries its own 30-day guarantee.
Moving to a longer package. If you switch mid-subscription, the guarantee applies to the additional amount paid, from the date you pay it.
Multi Room. Extra simultaneous connections carry the same 30-day guarantee, counted from the day they're added.
Because nothing renews on its own and no payment method is stored, you will never need to claim a refund for an unexpected debit.
Write to us first. We settle the overwhelming majority of these the same day, and a refund from us reaches you a good deal faster than a bank dispute will.
A chargeback raised without contacting us first costs both sides time and usually takes weeks longer. That doesn't affect your right to dispute a payment you genuinely didn't authorise.
Beyond that, the escalation route in section 9 is open to you.
We may update this policy. The version published on this page is the one in force, and the date of last update appears at the top.
The policy that applies to your order is the one published on the day you paid.
