IPTV South Africa —
your questions answered

Everything customers ask us, before and after subscribing. Setting up a particular device? The installation guide walks through each one step by step.

IPTV South Africa streams live TV, movies and series over your own internet line — no dish, no decoder from us, no installer coming to the house. You subscribe, we send your login details, and you enter them into an app on a device you already own.

Pick a package on the pricing page and message us on WhatsApp. We send a payment link, then your login details come back within minutes. After that you follow the guide for your device.

A few minutes. Once payment clears we send the login details on WhatsApp, at any hour. No queue and no office hours.

Yes — 24 hours free, on your own TV and your own line, with no card details. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll set it up. We would far rather you check for yourself than take our word for it.

Depending on your device, either a server URL with a username and password, or an M3U link — sometimes both, plus a TV guide link. Tell us which device you're setting up and we'll send the right format first time.

No. A smart TV, phone, tablet, computer, Fire Stick or games console is enough. If your TV turns out to be awkward we'll tell you straight and point at the cheapest way around it.

SABC 1, 2 and 3, e.tv, M-Net, kykNET, Mzansi Magic and the rest of the local line-up, with Afrikaans, isiZulu and isiXhosa programming alongside English. If one particular channel is the reason you're subscribing, ask us before you pay.

Yes, in every package. PSL and international football, Springbok and URC rugby, Proteas cricket, Formula 1, golf and tennis. There is no premium sports tier — the R190 package carries the same sport as the annual one.

Over 20 000 live channels, sorted by category rather than dumped in one endless list. Alongside the local line-up there are channels from the UK, US, India, Portugal, the Netherlands, Nigeria and more than 150 countries besides.

More than 140 000 titles on demand, updated regularly, with subtitles and audio tracks where the source carries them. Local productions sit alongside the international catalogue.

Yes, a full EPG for planning the week, and catch-up of up to seven days on many channels. It varies by channel, so ask us about the ones you care about.

Yes — channels from more than 150 countries are part of the same subscription, which is useful whether you're following a league abroad or keeping up with news from home.

Samsung and LG smart TVs, Android TV and Google TV, Fire TV Stick, Roku, Apple TV, Xiaomi and other Android boxes, MAG, Formuler, Dreambox and Enigma2, Xbox, PlayStation, plus Android and iOS phones and tablets, Windows and Mac. There's a step-by-step guide for each one.

On Samsung and LG, yes — the player installs from the TV's own app store. Some older or less common models don't offer a suitable app, and then a cheap Fire TV Stick sorts it out. Send us the model and we'll check.

One connection per subscription, so one stream at a time. You can install the app on as many of your own devices as you like, but not watch on two at once. Ask us about the Multi Room option if the household needs it.

No. It runs over an ordinary connection, and it's equally happy alongside a VPN if you prefer to use one.

Yes. The subscription follows your account, not your address. Log in from anywhere with an internet connection.

Your login details work on the new device — just enter them again. For MAG boxes and players tied to a device ID, send us the new one and we'll move the registration across before you set anything up.

Nothing is stored on a box in your house, so a power cut costs you only the hours it lasts. Your subscription sits on your account, not on hardware — carry on watching on a phone or tablet, or on a TV running off an inverter, and pick up on the big screen when the power comes back.

Roughly 1,5 GB an hour in Full HD and around 4 GB an hour in 4K. On a capped line, stay on the HD version of a channel rather than the 4K one — the same channel is usually listed in both.

It will, and plenty of our customers watch that way. Keep an eye on your bundle though: an evening of Full HD is a few gigabytes. Uncapped fibre is the easiest way to watch without counting.

About 10 Mbps for Full HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Steadiness matters more than peak speed — a wired connection or 5 GHz wi-fi beats a faster line on a congested 2,4 GHz band.

A common one. Smart TVs have much weaker wi-fi modules than phones, and it shows most at peak viewing times. An Ethernet cable fixes it in most houses. Otherwise a Fire TV Stick or Android box usually receives better than the TV's own tuner.

One month, three months, six months and a year. Every package carries the same channels, the same sport and the same library — only the length and the saving change. See pricing.

Card, PayPal or crypto through a secure payment provider. Message us and we'll send a payment link for the package you've chosen.

Yes. Payments are handled by a payment provider — we never see or store your card details.

No. Nothing renews on its own, no payment method is stored for later, and there is no cancellation notice to give. When your period is nearly up, message us and we'll renew on the same login details.

Yes. Message us and we'll work out the difference with you. Your login details stay the same, so there's nothing to reinstall.

Every package carries a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of payment. Message us within that window and we'll refund you. Full detail is in our refund policy.

Message us a few days before your period ends and we'll renew on the same login details. Nothing to reinstall, nothing to set up again.

Nine times out of ten a space has been copied onto the end of a field. Paste each value again and check the very end of the server URL. Use exactly the http or https and the port number we sent.

Message us with the channel name. We watch the servers continuously and most single-channel issues are sorted within hours. The channel name helps us far more than "it's not working".

Try the same channel at a lower quality. If HD runs clean and only 4K freezes, it's bandwidth. If everything freezes, try Ethernet or 5 GHz wi-fi — and tell us either way so we can check your route to our servers.

Give it a few minutes on first load, then use the app's refresh or EPG update option. If we sent a separate guide link, check that it has been entered.

Your login details stay the same — just enter them again. Only for players tied to a device ID do we need the new one, and then we move the registration across.

On WhatsApp, at any hour. Tell us your device and send a photo of the screen if something looks odd — that solves most problems without a single question back.

No matches. Try another word — or just ask us on WhatsApp.
